Have We Started Healthy Life?

Healthy living today not only as a necessity, but has become a lifestyle. We know, health is one important factor in human life. The threat of a growing critical illness and health costs are driven up in recent years emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle should we run. Healthy lifestyles as not negotiable.

Facts according to the 2011 Global Trends Survey Report of the Medical Tower Watson stated that the health costs to rise between 10 percent – 13 percent each year in the last two years.
Healthy Lifestyle can start by avoiding stress and always think positive. Habits are at least able to anticipate and protect us from health risks that may arise. Healthy living as a lifestyle is largely determined by the point of view, goals and desires of each individual.
In that regard, the AIA Group show concern by conducting Healthy Living Survey, which is supported by global research company – TNS in 15 countries, in which AIA operates, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, China, India, Taiwan , Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Macao and Brunei.
Particularly in Indonesia, a survey of 750 adults at the age of 18-65 years in the “Healthy Living AIA Index” indicates that the contribution of a healthy lifestyle is influenced by 1) Mind, happy, 2) a good family relationships, 3) Eat foods healthy and 4) Exercise regularly.
Although 62 percent of respondents undergoing regular exercise, but only 57 percent do so during the first hours or even less than 1 hour in a week. In connection with healthy habits, a pattern that has been there for a healthy life still revolves around “a lot of drinking water” and “eat more fruits and vegetables”. Therefore, efforts are needed more tangible to improve the standard of living healthy.
The survey results also showed that 84 percent of adult respondents Indonesia agree that companies must do more to help improve people’s lives healthier, one of which is to facilitate medical check-ups.
In line with this, one of the real efforts of PT. AIA FINANCIAL (“AIA”) is to provide free medical check-up every year to its employees, as well as to continue to remind employees to eat more healthy foods and creating a healthy work environment.
